J. Jill welcomes two new senior executives to its team

Women’s apparel brand J. Jill has announced the appointment of two new executives to its senior management team. Brian Beitler is to join the company in the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing and Brand Development Officer, while Shelley Liebsch will take on the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Merchandising Officer. Both of them will join the company in September and report to J. Jill’s CEO, Linda Heasley, who joined the company five months ago.
Beitler has over 20 years of experience as a marketing, strategy and business development executive. His resumé includes senior positions at Lane Bryant, Catherine’s and David’s Bridal. Liebsch joins J. Jill from Destination Maternity, where she served as Senior Vice President of Merchandising. Her CV also includes management roles at Urban Outfitters, Victoria’s Secret, inStyle Magazine and Bloomingdale’s.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Brian for a number of years and look forward to having him on my team once again”, said Heasley in a statement. “I am also excited to welcome Shelley and her merchandising expertise to the brand”.
Headquartered in Boston, J. Jill operates more than 270 stores across the United States, selling women’s apparel, footwear and accessories.
