The Kooples to open first US store

French premium brand The Kooples has signed a lease for its first American store on South

Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles.

The debut US store, will be in the former home of Seven For All Mankind and will be situated alongside other European brands including AllSaints, as well as US labels Michael Kors, Intermix and Tommy Hilfiger, according to WWD.

The French label entered the US last year in Bloomingdales, where its collections are sold at seven locations in New York and New Jersey, and WWD is reporting that the fashion chain is looking for suitable sites in New York City.

Currently The Kooples is sold in the UK, France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Demark, and Lebanon through its own stores and high-end boutiques and department stores such as Printemps, Selfridges and House of Fraser.
