London - Asos Fashion Discovery, an emerging talent search competition launched by the e-tailer in April this year, has announced its 2016 winners: Elissa Poppy and Hanger Inc.
Each winner will receive a bursary of 50,000 pounds, mentorship as well as being sold globally on Asos' e-commerce platform. The support they receive will include insight and advice on retail, content, marketing, finance and sourcing.
Lingerie label Elissa Poppy is a brand challenging the ideas of latex intimates. Designed by Elissa Grainger, the brand was formed after being inundated with order requests from her 11k+ Instagram fans. British and Japanese designer Claire Yurika Davis of London-based womenswear label Hanger mixes references such as Japanese Bosozoku biker girl gangs with a 'made in London' sustainability.
Asos Fashion Discovers aims to support emerging and established talent and is judged by a panel including CEO Nick Beighton, Creative Director John Mooney and Head of Fashion Zeba Lowe.
