Bucardo, a California-based lifestyle company, just recently launched their newest product line on Kickstarter. The product line, entitled “The Pendulum Collection,” is a line of high-end accessories that complement the Apple Watch making it into a classic pocket watch or trendy pendant necklace.

The lifestyle brand is known for offering inspired and innovative creations within its designs. Combining technology and fashion, Bucardo is able to incorporate a fashion element into the Apple Watch making it style-friendly. “As wearable technology becomes a part of our everyday lives, we want to enable users to tailor it to their own style and needs,” said Jonas Lee, co-founder of Bucardo. The company is known for their specialization in products that reinvent classic, traditional items.

The collection features silver and gold crystals by Swarovski for both men and women. The pieces geared towards men include pocket watch designs that will complement the Apple Watch. For women, the collection focuses on vintage pendant necklaces including a locket. The covers of the locket featured constellation or starburst engravings. Also, the necklace can be personalized with a selection of accessory charms. “We are so excited to offer a way to transform the Apple Watch into a more personalized accessory for any occasion,” said Lee. Sparing no luxury, one of the pieces from the collection includes a 14karat gold necklace with a 3 milimeter white or black diamond. Base accessories start at 150 dollars and up to 5,000 dollars. The pieces are available online at Bucardo’s website. For early backers of the Kickstarter project, the Pendulum Collection is readily available.

In early May of this year, the demand for the Apple Watch was higher than supply. However, in recent news, the Watch hasn’t been outselling more than its supply. According to the Wall Street Journal, one of Apple’s suppliers for the Watch told investors that barely “broke even” for its number of shipments of Apple Watch components in the second quarter. Also, shipments are expected to fall for the next quarter as well. According to MacWorld, a subsidiary of Advanced Semiconducter Engineering (ASE) states that the “break-even” point for the Watch is two million units per month.
