Jerome C. Rousseau, shoe designer, hosted his first pop-up shop in Los Angeles this past weekend. The L.A. based designer teamed up with fine jewelry from Randall Scott for a two-day pop-up shop on April 24th and 25th. The event took place at 9411 S. Santa Monica Blvd.

Rousseau designs Italian-made shoes that are infamous for their luxury feel. His collaboration with the local jewelry company Randall Scott came from the aesthetics of the collection. “[Randall Scott designs] has feminine and luxurious values combined with expert craftsmanship, which I think will appeal to customers who love my label,” Rousseau told Pret-a-porter.

Along with champagne and snacks, the pop-up also featured a meet-and-greet with the eponymous designer. The shop offered discounts on his trademark designs as well as pieces from his spring 2015 collection. The event was Rousseau’s first ever pop-up boutique.

In the past, Rousseau worked with designers Matthew Williamson and John Rocha. After gaining experience in the fashion industry, he created his own line in 2008 and since has gained notable recognition from celebrity clientele including Lady Gaga, Brittany Snow, Scarlett Johannson and Taylor Swift.

Rousseau collection range in price from 495 to 1,095 dollars. The shoes are currently available through Rousseau’s online shop.
