M Dot Design Studio launches collection and hosts pop-up at Springs LA

M Dot Design Studio released the first chapter of their M Dot Stories series launching their Angel Payne Collection. The artistic studio launched the minimalist collection at the W Hotel in Los Angeles this past weekend.

The first chapter of the M Dot Stores included a fashion presentation by designers M Dot and Sophie Blake as well as visuals by Collective Aesthetics Artists. Infusing culture and music, the launch featured live DJs and visual art on display to match the fashion collection. The collection includes pieces that reflect an effortless, chic look. The all-black collection also further emphasizes a simplistic, mod feel. Apparel from M Dot typically range in price from about 100 to 320 dollars.

Currently M Dot is also hosting a pop-up at the Springs in downtown Los Angeles that opened June 1. The Springs is a restaurant and shopping experience that offers juices, meals, and a retail section for Los Angeles locals. The venue is known for hosting various pop-ups of local artists and retailers to showcase their artwork and clothing. The pop-up will continue to be open at the location until August 18.

M Dot Design Studio was founded by Michelle Aquino and Gaberial King. The studio has established itself in 2009 as a producer of fine, high-quality garments and ready-to-wear clothing pieces. The clothing produced reflect M Dot’s mantra of making clean, sophisticated lines of classic silhouettes maintained at high standards.
