Rachel Zoe to host spring 2018 show in LA

Los Angeles - Fashion stylist Rachel Zoe has confirmed her next spring 2018 fashion show. After hosting a show on the West Coast for her last collection, it seems she is choosing Los Angeles once again this year.

Zoe, who grew to fame in the fashion industry as a stylist, is still an emerging designer in terms of fashion week. Recently, she has begun hosting shows in Los Angeles instead of participating in New York Fashion Week. Her latest show was in L.A. alongside other elite designers such as Tom Ford, Tommy Hilfiger, and Rebecca Minkoff who chose to skip the East Coast fashion event for California. In moving to L.A. for her last show, Zoe felt it was a homage to her roots. “I’m still a small designer; I can’t take over the Griffith Observatory, but I felt it was time to own being a L.A. designer,” Zoe told WWD at the time.

Her upcoming spring 2018 was also just confirmed in Los Angeles. She told WWD that her fashion show would debut just before New York Fashion Week in September this year in SoCal once again. “I think if we can get a fun group of [designers] to do it here again, it would be great,” she told the publication. At the moment, Zoe is one of the first to confirm a second show in the city for the fall. However, as the city seems to be coming into its own as a fashion capital, it's likely that a slew of designers will follow suit.
