Wrangler names Rino Castiglione president

Denim brand Wrangler has named former Guess exec Rino Castiglione as president, succeeding Frans Van Zeeland.
Castiglione joins VF Corporation, Wrangler’s parent company, from Guess where he was vice-president of the jeanswear division from June 2009. Prior to Guess he served as regional manager at Benetton, and sales manager at Valentino.
Commenting on his appointment, Castiglione said: “I am very proud to be joining VF International and a brand with such rich heritage like Wrangler. I will work with the Wrangler team to continue the brand’s growth with a focus on e-com, key accounts and a new retail format."
Van Zeeland was president of Wrangler from April 2011, he has returned to fellow VF Corporation denim company Lee in North America. Prior to his move to Wrangler he was vice president of consumer marketing of jeanswear; his new role has not been disclosed.
