Me & Blue, vintage boutique, is set to close its Venice location this upcoming weekend. The 70’s inspired clothing shop officially closes its doors on May 30.
The retailer has spent six years at its location on Rose Avenue. Me & Blue is known for offering bohemian women’s clothing. The retro boutique sells vintage designs that are made in Los Angeles and manufacturing in the local area. Founded in 2000 by M.E. Ster-Molnar, the boutique started out in a Philadelphia loft. Upon moving to Los Angeles, the boutique opened its first bungalow in 2009. Inspired by the fashion and ethereal feel of the 70’s, Me & Blue bases its clothing on unique, one-of-a-kind clothing. Most of the styles offered at the Venice location are produced locally in Los Angeles.
Founder Ster-Molnar told LA Racked that the reason for the store’s closure has to do with a personal reason. Ster-Molnar confirms to the publication that she’s moving to Asheville, North Carolina. To recognize Me & Blue’s six enduring years on Rose Avenue, the shop is hosting a major closing sale this week. Ideally, the sale will help clear out Me & Blue’s inventory.
Me & Blue offers jumpsuits, separates, cardigans, dresses, and more. The colors of the apparel offered are typically bright and vibrant, reflecting a 70’s vibe. Also, graphic patterns are prevalent throughout the store’s collection. The store’s items range in price from 12 to 175 dollars.
