Los Angeles - Manufacturer Edgemine Inc. has planned to branch out strategically a company. The womenswear company is planning to focus more on overall brand building including brick-and-mortars and a possible menswear line.
The wholesale company has just confirmed that it will be progressing its brand more intentionally. “Up until now, everything’s been organic and accidental,” sales director Sarah King told WWD. As the company sees potential growth by expanding, Edgemine is considering to grow more in international markets. The womenswear manufacturer has also stated to the publication that it is going to open more brick-and-mortars in Asia. Along with growing the company in a physical retail sense, the brand also said that it was considering to expand its apparel by offering a men’s contemporary line as well. While its womenswear brands have done well; such as J.O.A. which is retailed at Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Revolve, and more; moving into men’s clothing is a very natural step for the brand. It seems that regardless Edgemine is focused on moving forward as a company and taking things to the next level.
The Los Angeles-based company designs and manufacturers women’s clothing ranging from tops, knitwear, dresses, outwear, denim, and more. Established in 1994, the manufacturer prides itself as a “women’s total fashion company.” Edgemine’s brands including J.O.A., Moon River, Blu Pepper, Perch, E&M, Street Wanderer, and Mine. These brands variate from junior fashion basics, trendy juniors, vintage-inspired plus, bohemian clothing, and young contemporary.
