British Fashion Awards announce nominees

The British Fashion Awards today announced this year's nominees. The ceremony is due to take place

on December 1st at the London Coliseum.

Marques'Almeida, Thomas Tait and Paula Gerbase of 1205 are in the running for Emerging Womenswear Designer while Craig Green, Astrid Andersen and Lee Roach head up the nominees for Emerging Menswear Designer.

J.W. Anderson and Erdem and Christopher Kane - the latter being the 2013 winner - are up for the womenswear designer of the year. Anderson is also nominated for best menswear designer of the year, as are Tom Ford, Christopher Bailey for Burberry and Paul Smith.

Model of the year nominees include Sam Rollinson, Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn.

Other awards on the night include the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, which recognises a British stylist, make-up artist, photographer, art director or producer, as well as the BFC Outstanding Achievement award.
